It is our duty to inform you that the Ecuadorian Railroad Company (EFE) will continue the maintenance on the "Chaski Antawa" route, due to this matter the operation of the Messenger train will be completely stopped until January 2012.

For those passengers that already booked the Messenger Train Adventure, we will be replacing this portion with the best alternative sites, including full meals and entrance fees fulfilling the expectations of this beautiful area.

Full day tours:

Visit the Otavalo Indigenous Market additionally of Peguche, kichwa village famous for its textiles and Andean museum instruments.  Enjoy a delicious lunch prepared in a traditional way using firewood while having Andean music played.

2 days tours:

Visit the Otavalo Indigenous Market and its surroundings, additional of Peguche village and its attractions.  Enjoy a delicious traditional lunch with music played, and then go to Condor Park Refuge to observe birds of prey, vultures and owls, dinner and accommodation in a traditional hacienda.

The second day the itinerary will remain the same including visits to Cotacachi, a town specialized in leatherwork, Cuicocha lagoon with deep blue waters and surrounded by the Cotacachi Volcano.
