Day 1: Quito

Welcoming and transfer from the international airport in Quito to a first class hotel. Overnight.

Day 2: Colonial City tour Quito

Breakfast. Religious Art, Colonial Architecture, Historic. Explore the "World Cultural Heritage” the largest historical centre in the Americas. Overnight.

Day 3: Quito/Peguche/Cotacahi/Cuicocha Lagoon

Nature, Artisanal, Ethnic, Gastronomy. Towards North of Quito there is Peguche village famous for its workshop Andean instruments & the looms indigenous handcrafts. Lunch. Visit Cotacachi leather market & Cuicocha lagoon. Accommodation hacienda Pinsaquí.

Day 4: Otavalo/Ibarra-Salinas (29km)

Train Ride “Chaski Antawa” from Ibarra to Salinas. Go through tunnels and bridges, see large sugar cane plantations and experience a unique landscape in just two hours ride. Visit Mascarillas – handcrafts made of mountain clay. Box lunch. Visit Otavalo which is known because of its colorful artistic indigenous market in South America. Return to Quito. Overnight in First Class hotel.

Days 5 – 8: Galapagos Cruises

An unforgettable cruise to the Archipelago. All included: navigation, accommodation in exterior cabins, all meals, 2 daily guided visits, lectures, naturalist multilingual guides, etc. Includes air ticket from Quito or Guayaquil to Galapagos and back, plus shuttle service to & from the airport.
